I just put a new one on my car, last time I used the old one the pump worked fine. But now with the new one I have no power steering. I keep running through my mental checklist of what was disconnected and needs to be reconnected, I don't think I missed anything. In fact, the installation was very simple. Anyone have any ideas?

Did you refill the system with PS fluid? Did you replace the belt.


I dunno? If you say everything is connected I don't see why it shouldn't work.

When we put my new rack on we went through some wheel turning procedure, check TSRM, that could be the problem.

If you followed the TSRM, I would doubt that is the problem.

Maybe he didnt follow the TSRM, and maybe that IS the problem non of us know yet!!!!:3d_frown:

I just put mine in, turned it all the way to the left, turned it all the way to the right, repeat a few times, and it worked fine.

yep yep, its been so long now i dont remember what we did.

I got it at a parts store. I turned it back in forth a couple times. I'll check the TSRM.
