Hi all. I'm new to this stuff as I am bringing my brothers 86.5 N/A back to life. Been in the family since new.

It's going well, but I do need to replace the P/S pump and would like to know if there is anything tricky about the job before I start. I looked at the TSRM and it seems to be a very straightforward job, but I'd appreciate it if anyone can point out any problems I may run into. I plan on using a Cardone replacement pump from auto zone for about 88 bucks.

thanks

IJ.

Charley: When it's all done jack it up so the front wheels are off the ground run the motor and wind the steering lock to lock a few times but DON'T hold it tight at the ends.

Check the fluid and top off if needed, this will bleed all of the air from the system.
