hi, an intercooler has been on my mind for a while. i was wondering what is the best way to go. an intercooler with the in and out ports on the same side or the common one with the ports on opposite sides? i took a stock EVO 8 intercooler and tried to fit it in and make it work but it was a mess. i couldnt bolt the intercooler onto anything and it looked like a hack job because i dont have a FFIM and i had to run the IC pipe all the way back to the other side to make it fit. i wanted to get peoples comments on what you guys did or how to make it work. if so could i get some pics? thanks in advance

looks like a great idea. i would like to see a pic of the driver side end tank. does it face rear like the other side? or point to the side? for not being ffim i think this looks like a pretty efficient intercooler set up. other than the 90 degree bend you'll have on the drivers side
I'd seriously suggest a kit that includes new hardpipes at the same time. Check out the offering from ETS, it's decent and includes all the stuff you need to mount it up.
