It says something when a system's controller has been unchanged in over a decade. What other system can say that? (don't say xbox, because they changed their's because the original was dumb.)

As far as 360 vs. PS3, PS3 wins already for me. Xbox never had enough titles that I cared about. PS1 and PS2 have tons of games that have immense replay value for me. I expect the same from PS3

the only system that ever went down on me was my old atari... i'm too old to remember what model it was though... i was probably 6 years old

As for me, i still have my atari 2600 some where here, NES, SNES, Original Gameboy, ps1, ps2, jaguar, sega genesis, sega cd, n64, lynx, and gamegear all somewhere aroudn here and they all work. Oh my gamecubes lasers burnt out, but thats because i kno what my problem was... we played super smash bros on day for 27 hours straight, even warped the disc :rofl:

i ripped my ps2 apart and cleaned the laser... worked perfect...

for the record.... DO NOT, and i repeat, DO NOT bump a xbox 360 when it is running w/ a disk in it... it will chew it up in 2 seconds, turn it into a completely worthless plastic disc

while the PS3 is backwards complatible, you will need to change the aspect to make it fit the screen and look correct on the screen. Also in the argument of who has better titles, how many awsome titles is the PS3 gonna have? Besides the over done new GT, The GT series hasnt changed thru the years. Maybe some better graphics a different car here and there maybe different tracks but its all the same. I liked GT3 dont get me wrong but its not really nessicary to own all the versions. Socom is quite the boring game, i own the first and second. I gets old really fast. It looks and plays like a knock off of Counter-Strike and Ghost Recon. I like the final fantasy series but it isnt even origanally for the PS. it started as a nintendo title. And after FF9 it was down hill. FFX was gay, it had a crappy story line and a pathetic whinny main character. Then there was FFXI and because it was Gay2Play and way to expensive. Then the sequal to FFX was horrible with no different party memebers thru the whole game and a crappy chick flick story line.

PS always had the best controlers. Oh and the Cell is roughly 3x as powerful as the 360's processor since it has 7 cores @ 3.2 ghz each. Also the memory is faster for the ps3 just less of it. Its real close in all terms but the superior processor + blue-ray + bluetooth.
