Well I have the PPS system on my car and the rack is leaking ~forth a quart a week. Well I went to go price out a new rack and The only place that could even get me one was the dealer. They told me it would take a few weeks and the cost was very high to say the least. I can get a non PPS for cheep anywhere, but don't know if that would be ok to swap. Can it be done? What would I need to do to make it work? Pros/Cons?

Thanks in advance.

I come from a land down under
The pully on the PPS pump is a different diameter so you'll have more assistance on a non PPS rack, this was ok with my suspension settings and 265 front tires but it might be a bit floaty/imprecise.

Thanks for the link Poodles. That is less than half of Toyotas price for a remanufactured unit. Odd the PPS and non are the same price.

Thanks IJ. So the swap won't require anything special...good. I can get a remanufactured non pps rack for ~$120.
