A little bit of history on this......
After less than a month of semi daily driving,
I managed to pop all the heads off my ARP flywheel to crank bolts.
It seemed to happen all at once, no warning.
Not one failing, and me driving it for a few more days
trying to figure out what the noise was.

OK,
Just got off the phone with ARP...........

They say that LocTite is slipperier than motor oil,
and to NOT use the 85 ft/lb torque figure that is called out for oiled threads.
(nice of them to put this on the instructions)

When using LocTite on the 203-2802 crank bolts,
only torque to 65 ft/lbs.

Uhhh.... are you talking about main cap bolts? Rod bolts? head bolts?

The crank bolt holds the harmonic balancer on... it doesn't sound like this is what you're talking about.

No instructions come with arp 203-2802. Proper torque is the factory setting of 54 ft lbs on the flywheel bolts. Who told you to go to 85?

ARP did,
Right on the sheet that came with the bolts.

They state:
58 ft/lbs with moly,
85 ft/lbs with motor oil.
