I was wondering about probe locations for oil pressure/temperature. Right now I have my probe for my oil temp drilled into the oil drain plug, works fine there. I want to move it somewhere else, I was thinking about the J-tube block off, is that a good place to set both oil pressure/temp probes at? Would it be easier to get an aluminum J-tube block off or use the stock one with drilling and tapping? Thanks

Youll definitely want the oil temp probe in the oil pan, not the j-tube blockoff.

drill and tap the side of the pan towards the bottom.

for oil pressure, use a greddy filter sandwich adapter or T into the stock oil pressure sensor port.

Arnout's location is sweet but I need a place to install two probes, not one. I know about the oil pan, but I don't want to drop the pan just to drill and tap it. I thought the J-tube location would be good, but too far away from the pan, right?
