Pressure Plate question

Hey guys, Well I need a new clutch, the OEM one I installed Jan. '04 doesn't like 12 psi I have asked this question on another forum but only got 2 replies, so I thought I'd post here just to get more opinions. My question is can I just get a new disc and reuse my 15 month old stock PP? I'm looking at a HPF bronze disc. I will of course be getting new bearings, PP bolts and Flywheel bolts. Thoughts? Thanks

yeah you can do that...make sure you resurface your flywheel though...

otherwise you shouldnt have a problem...

Yea resurfacing the FW is also on the to do list while the tranny is off. Anyone else want to chime in on this one?

We've seen this done several times, seems to work fine.

Thanks guys I was ready but not relishing the thought of dropping 600+ dollars for a new clutch set up. I will be sure to inspect the PP very well and replace it if there are any signs of weakness. But it should hold up fine.
