Pressure plate difference? LOOK please!

I'm installing my Spec Stage 3 on my Supra and when i was cleaning the pressure plate when I noticed that the Spec Stage 2 pressure plate was different. Its hard to explain so i took and edited pictures. Is the Spec Stage 3 supposed to not have those studs that connect the blue part of the pressure plate to the rotor looking part of the pressure plate as in Spec Stage 2?

I thought they were both just stock units, repainted blue. I'd be concerned about any differences.

(Of course, I'd take better photos, too. )
