Replace the hose would be my guess......

You wouldn't just run some thicker fluid? :naughty:

I'm kind of surprised by this thread... is there something more to this? Or is this really a question of whether or not to replace a leaking hose?

Maybe he was wondering if he could tape over it or get some cheap fix.

Well, I suppose if the car's not being driven or run it might work for a little while. ;)

Seriously though, if the hole is in one spot and is not big you could try temporarily patching it by cutting the hose at the hole, reconnect the two ends with a hose barb union and clamp the hose down with two small clamps.

Okay, now let's give the guy a break. He may have assumed that it was something like an A/C line where replacement for a novice can be quite tricky and involved.

If it's the high pressure line it's running over 1000 psi. Gonna take more than tape or clamps ;)

Change the hose. Either buy a replacement or talk to Aaron at Driftmotion. As I recall he has a setup that'll work. If I were you I'd also flush the system and fill with synthetic Dexron V, something like Mobil One. Put a filter in there too. Google "magnefine".
