Thought this would be a real cool and fun thread as we're always buying all sorts of stuff (or BS haha). Just as the title states, post a pic or pics of your recent purchase(s) whether it be car (Supra) parts, food, furniture, tv, clothes, meds lol, or even the hooker/escort you've encountered. :biglaugh:

It'll be interesting to see what some of you guys buy daily haha

I'll start:

Tried a new drink, it wasn't bad

Bought a cool steel Spider Man poster from Half Price Books

I'm actually kind of shock by the lack of posts in here haha. Anyways...

It's about that time, oil change on the DD Civic. Autozone had an oil and filter sale. :) Replacing the rad while I'm at it (from junkyard). Oh and GT5 XL's the way to go peeps!

Gentleman, meet Betty, the 1946 Chevy Fleetline (Fleetmaster? Not sure really) 2 door. She's new to the family. :D

It's all up in the air for now, this was a pic from about 3 years ago when I helped strip the interior. All original glass is there except the windshield, and the only rough spot is the rusted out [strike]hole in the[/strike] trunk. Body is in pretty great shape for being nearly 70 years old. Idea for now is to finish the Supra, then make this into a nice cruiser / road trip car. Maybe later down the line, a subtle budget drag car that can run 13's. With that in mind, I'm leaning toward GM's Atlas I6, 4.2l, from the newer Trailblazers, with a side helping of boost. Either that, or a 1uz turbo'd... 283 or 327 sounds nice too...

Who the hell knows, I haven't even gotten her home yet and I've already got 500 ideas for the thing. That's what I love about it, it's a completely blank canvas. :)

Heh, I couldn't throw a shoe without hitting something with an SBC around here. Not saying the idea is completely off the table, but I'm leaning toward cheap (ish), and fuel injected. Really aiming for something that isn't going to run like crap if I drive somewhere with a 5000+ foot elevation difference. :)

I've had enough of my bagless Hoover. You have to go outside (and maybe even wear a breathing mask) to empty it, and by the time you have to replace the filters you would've (probably) spent less on bags. All for crappy suction. You get what you pay for...

So I've replaced it, with this pair of Oreck bagged vacuums. The little one on the right is more powerful than the Hoover, and the one on the left is Oreck's lightest full-powered upright ever (7.7lbs).

As for the fate of the bagless Hoover, I'll just give it to my older brother. He already uses it as much as I did (thanks for asking me :sarcasm:), and he's NOT gonna be allowed to touch these.

Nitrous is your friend in that case...heheh.

A turbo can help you there :) The greater difference in pressure between the two sides of the turbine (due to the lower atmosphere pressure) would make the turbo more effecient and help make up the lost hp.

Both of those things are definitely ON the table. You know, I really should just start a build thread for the car. No money is going to be spent on it, and things will likely be slow, but why not? :)
