play in the center splined section of 6 puck clutch disc

i just bought a used ACT clutch setup.
the disc itself, the splined part has a bit of up/ down and side to side play.
its a sprung disc. is it supposed to have play?

Personally I wouldn't use it it'd drive me bugshit, as long as there isn't a lot of Up/Down play ie: Hold centre and the Disc doesn't move vertically it "should" be fine and won't affect balance.
