Thanks,

Not to familiar with the 1JZ, does it have the same amount of vacuum lines as 7M? How have you made the fittings fit whatever the vacuum line goes to? (All 100% custom?)

I also have run braided vac lines for alot of my 2jz swapped MKIII. The way I did it was to actually take each item and thread in the appropriate AN fitting then run the lines to it.

(T701jz.......It looks like you are not running positive crank ventilation? The little filters on you cam covers.......Curious as to why?)

Hm, I'm still quite curious on how you have made the AN fittings fit onto whatever the lines run into. Do you have any pictures or examples of the AN fitting being threaded on?

Heres a picture showing some vacuum lines I've got now.. http://www.mitoforum.org/priv/supra/worklog/188.jpg How will I be able to thread AN fittings onto some of those places? Do you get AN fittings which clamp on from the outside? Or do you have to thread it from the inside of whatever you are connecting it to?

I'm personally most wanting stainless steel braided vacuum lines which just you can push onto just like ordinary silicone vacuum lines.. Say for example this braided line.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Vacu...rQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_3532wt_941 Is that the type of rubber/braided line you can just push on like you can with stock/silicone vacuum lines? Sorry for maybe asking a bit silly.. just being a little unsure

My question to you is... why? Is there any real reason, aside from aesthetics, that you would want stainless steel vacuum lines?

Stainless lines are basically rubber lines with a braided stainless steel cover, which reinforces the hose to a certain pressure and temperature.

So in theory, you could get the appropriate sized hose and use it as you would use a vacuum line.

Either way... it's going to be very expensive

It's not for performance, durability or trying to gain something. It's just the fact that my goal is a clean, simple, chrome engine bay. So stainless steel braided lines will help somewhat with that, insted of having some bright blue/red etc lines.

A bundle of braided vacuum line isn't expensive at all, 25ft 5/32" costs $35.. so don't think price is bad at all :)
