passenger headlight

so my passenger headlight will only go up..but it wont go down..pretty sure the 87-88 motors are the same besides the clip..which is different..so i got a 88 headlight motor from a friend..which is still a good motor

i solder in the clip and the headlight doesnt go up or down at all...

is there a relay to this somewhre? or a fuse?

Yeah, it looks like there's a 30A fuse in that line there that you can check but I don't know where it is. If it was going up before though, that fuse would have been fine, which leads me to believe that you either have a bad motor which shorted and killed the fuse, have a bad motor and the fuse is fine, or your wiring got messed up somehow.
