I wrapped my DP from the back of the turbo down til it gets under the car, and I have to say it has helped my under hood temps quite considerably (next on the list is a turbo beanie)
Mind you when I drove it for the first time after it was put on I freaked out because it smelt like something burning in an oven and smoke came out from under the hood! But that was gone the next time I drove it. All is well ever since :)

Thanks for the info guys. I might try header wrap some day unless someone further proves it to be deadly to headers.

Wrapping an exhaust component is both good and bad by concept. Obviously the more heat left inside the exhaust system and less outside of the system the better. However any heat protection provided by the wrap hurts the ability of the material to oxidize (rust). Weld points are generally always considered the hard points FYI,
