PanaSport G-7's and Ray's Lm GT1's

Ok so I have aquired 2 sets of wheels. I have two Pana Sport G-7s and three Rays Engineering LM GT1's (From a Tommy Kaira R-32 Skyline :evil2: ). Is there any possible ways that I could find any extra wheels of these brands anywhere?

They are all 18x9 +24 in front and +28 in the rear

Do you think I can just rock the Panasport's on one side and the Rays LM GT1's on the other?

If it feels right when braking/accelerating and in corners you should be ok. (pana on one side and Ray's on the other)

You can´t have them on the same axel since the offset is different F/R

I posted this on SupraFroums and got a completely negative response... They said that I need to find the other rims before I even think about putting them on my car. They said it would look terrible if I put one set of rare rims on one side and another rare set on the other....

What do ya'll think? Either way I think I still am goin to do that because I got them all for $450 with fresh tires and there is no way I am going to be able to find one or two more of these wheels...

do it drift style. 1 set in the front 1 in the back. doing it side to side makes no sense and will negatively effect your lsd.

I'm not sure if i can do it drift style because of the offsets...How would having the same exact dimensions and relatively the same weight rims negaitvely affect the lsd? Do all supras have lsd's?

I just dont get why side to side doen't make sense? You can't see both sides at the same time so it wouldn't really look weird... plus they look similar. To me it makes more sense than the drifter style.:dunno:

different rotational mass, different grip (im assuming they have different tires) and a different offset will all effect the geometrey(sp) of your suspension. look at the hks drift car (240) with the mismatched front and rear rims. honestly just buy a full set and be done with it rather than try and make changes that you dont know how it will change the characteristcs of the car.

Just make sure you have the same kind of tire on the same axle and you should be fine. The weight difference of the wheels side to side won't make any noticable difference in the handling characteristics of the car. Try to match the offsets per axle as well, as that could theoretically make a difference, but not much.

The offsets will definately match for each axle...lol. And every tire is the same model...

Plus I dont have money...so I dont think I will be buying a new set. And i doubt i'll find 2 panasport G7's especially in 18" form.

i say do it, you can only see one side at a time anyways. Just make sure they are the same size (18x8, 18X9 or whatever on back), and offsets match along with weight. You dont want one weighing way more than the other. Screw the haters-do what you want and you are bound to find a replacement wheel eventually.

so you have at least one front and one rear from both sets? and the offset is the same for both sets of rims?

i say do it drift style.... if you keep the offsets the same per axle then you should be good to go.

Drift style to most people is having one set on each axle. I can't do that because of the front and rear offsets...

But I think you mean I should do one set per side. If thats the case than you are correct and that is what I shall be doing!
