Does anybody drive their auto Supras with the overdrive off during city driving ? Is it better for the auto trans?

all i've ever used it for on other vehicles is when passing on the highway - to downshift to get into the powerband before giving it gas (and avoiding a hard downshift)
If your city is below 40mph limit, then off might be good.
You will wear out the clutch packs sooner when it constantly shifts in & out of O.D.

heh, i turn it off as an alternative to downshift sometimes.
