Well, I have decided to try to get an okanagan based supra club going! So first things first, a website! I have registered the domain and I am now working on a logo for the club. I have come up with a little simple logo that would be great for window stickers and stuff like that, what do you think?
Secondly, is there anybody around the okanagan that is interested in helping run it? I would love to be able to schedule weekly meets and cruises around kelowna and stuff like that, since the okanagan is such a beautiful place! But of course, we need to start slow, so finding people who would like to join is my next goal. I will be making little magnetic business cards (that I picked up from staples) that will be perfect for placing on other beautiful supras around town hehe, like by ther door handle. Each member will get a stack of these little guys they can pass out or tag other cars with to try to get the name out there, as well as window decals on their own cars (similar to grimjack's supramania logo)...
The website I am making will have a simple forum on it, nothin fancy, nothing like the community we have here so supramania.com will be linked to for anything other than local talk. (Mods please reply or pm if there are any issues with this idea!)... Other than that we will have a photogallery and video hosting, as well as a live chat room, and of course, member support throughout the entire site. Hopefully having this club going will bring a few more local guys to the Suprafest events when they are held here in kelowna (which was awesome this year by the way! :biglaugh: )
So what do you all think of the idea? Any ideas or comments are welcome!
