ok I looked under the dash like how u asked Cuel. Nothing is bent or broken But there is a leak that i found. The leak is occuring inside the car on the floorboard where the rod that is connected to the clutch pedal goes thru the firewall to the engine compartment of the car. Sounds like i need a new clutch master cylinder then huh?

Bingo. Worn master seal -> New master AND slave. You should always do both.

Fixing your girl's car
Bleed the clutch yourself. Get your brother under there at the bleeder on the slave cylinder and soak him with brake fluid. That should be punishment enough, for now.

When you separate the engine and trans to replace the clutch and pressure plate, make sure you show him the damage he caused and make sure he foots the bill.

Ok update, I replaced Master cylinder, slave cylinder, and all of the lines. I created another post and forgot all about this one. Sorry for creating two similar threads. Well the damage that was done from his little incident is broken Pressure plate spindles that were sticking and thats why the pedal wouldn't come all the way back up. So its time to upgrade to a beefer clutch.

Ouch. Labor for clutch replacement can be a hefty bill.

At least you get to upgrade now. :)

yes i was quoted 615 for parts and labor and the stock oem replacement which i do not plan on doing. My other mechanic will put it in for 150 if i supply the parts and bring some food and a beer or 2 when i come.
