It is...to those that help themselves.

If you're too lazy to look...why should we help?

Edit:: That took 10 freaking seconds to find BTW, second damn thread that came up on the advanced search since mkIIIman089 did say that he had helped out others with advice on this before. All I did was copy/paste his name under the posts to look for, typed in oil temp gauge in the subject, and BAM! First find was this worthless thread, then the second find was the one I posted ;).

Why are you attempting to do things you don't know how to do? What do you do for a living?

I don't get on medical boards and ask how to perform surgery on my neighbor.

What you want, what you want. What do you pay to be here on this forum? How much do you spend to have experts at your beck and call?

Listen kid, if you aren't interested in learning about how the car works, then you can't do the work yourself. Hire a mechanic or a tuner to do it for you. You don't get to be ignorant and do it yourself at the same time.

Basically what you are saying is we should shut the fuck up and figure it out for you?

Sorry son, the real world doesn't work that way.

We do this because we want to. When you act like an ingrate we stop wanting to... There's only one person acting like an asshole in this thread, and it's you.

Ive been looking into adding a temp gauge as well. The adapter looks like a good way to go. I think spending a few more dollars and getting a relocation kit is the best way for me at least to go. Get the filter relocated and easy to add the gauges with it at the same time.

Sigh...

What you need is an adapter block.

MSRP $70

I think I sell them for around $65
How much more spoon fed can he possibly be!? I told him to get this exact product when he wouldn't stop bitching in PMs to me, this was right after I posted...

It really...just... I'm lost for words.

You should also be able to get a couple of adaptors and make it work from the stock oil pressure sender location IIRC. IJ. knows the correct adaptors needed for the strange fitting that's required to seal correctly when tighten. You can get this adaptor, then get a tee to screw into the end of the adaptor and use both an aftermarket pressure gauge and temp gauge. Again, search on that one, it was discussed no more than 2 weeks ago on here.

i did do a lot of research before posting and i could not find anything that helps me.... i dont need a mechanic to do anything for me as i am a technician myself... i asked a simple question witch was is there any way to install the gauge without removing the relief valve, a few people told me the adapter and then i ask if you put that adapter on does it get still get rid of the relief valve or, how do you install it...

im sorry if thats to much to ask and i dont need anyone calling me kid considering im not a kid and i have probaly built more care that most prople on this forums im just new to the supra....

If you are so worried about the relief valve, don't get the sandwich plate. I'm not really sure If the relief valve gets ousted or not, but there are other methods to get done what you want done without touching that. Those other ways have already been mentioned on here.

For the sake of curiosity, is the relief valve eliminated when installing a sandwich plate? I wouldn't think so, but then again I'm not using a sandwich plate...

No, it's not. The plate screws on in place of your oil filter. Also, a Celica GTS oil filter is required after the install. You can't use the Supra one anymore...

i found the greddy sesor block on ebay... this is the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GRED...72301QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW#ebayphotohosting

is this the right part

It looks like it. Hopefully it's not counterfeit. The fact that they want $35 for shipping makes me think they are dishonest at best.

$40 for the block would be a hell of a great price, that's well under dealer cost. But add the shipping "scam" onto it and it's pretty much right back up to full retail. I'll bet they ship by US Mail for that $40 price as well... Pathetic.

If you want one without getting ripped off on shipping shoot me a PM...
