OIL squirters

has anyone ever installed oil squirters into a 7MGE block?

my GTE block has had a melt down in #2 and it has damaged the bolck serverly. i have a good GE long block...but the GE not having oil squirters is concerning. could a machione shop, or I install the squirters?

i think the oil squirters are from the piston pin aren't they?

The GTE block is just a GE block with the squirters added. I'm sure if you took the block to a machining shop they could add them for you.

What about knock sensors? Doesnt the GE Block only have place for one sensor?

It has the pads for both but 1 is undrilled

It's 12x1.25 from memory.

sort of, the GE block has one knock sensor in the middle side of the block and the GTE has two knock sensors, one towards the front on the side of the block and the other towards the back on the side of the block. the area in the middle where the GE had its knock sensor is unused on the GTE block.
