bringing this back, 'cause I've got some work to do this weekend.
I moved the oil filter part, below to the tranny/starter area. I am using 1 port for the turbo feed and the other for the 7M pressure sender. Ever since I moved it, the oil pressure gauge has not worked. so, am replacing tranny and messing with the sensor this weekend. I used teflon tape on the sender, but the filter plate is attached to the tranny w/a metal bracket. Does the sender need ground beyond that (once I remove the teflon tape)?
Just reading where other senders are grounded to the block, thus only requiring the 1 wire from the top. I just want to make sure and re-ground this filter housing to the block if necessary, but I think that metal bracket is enough.
Your thoughts?
