There's a few toyota motors that are shimless and share the same bore size.

yeah it's pretty old, a lot of the 2jz-gte guys use shim less buckets when they use high lift cams such as 280 cams, it does put a good diet on the valve train

does anybody know what other cars have shimless buckets? im going to the junkyard and i could bring my mic along with me to see if there still in good shape...

otherwise im just going to get a ton of shims for my valves... as the intake side is pretty loud...

and i just found out tomorrow is 50% off EVERYTHING at pick and pull! im so excited! its my birthday tomorrow, and its like pick and pull knew! haha

hopefully i can find all of the little things i've been needing... might even grab a turbo diff and keep it to get rebuilt later.

and i guess i'll just crack open some valve covers and measure the shimless buckets, or just see if they fit into a 7m head (if i can find one).

The shims are 25mm diameter, the buckets are 28mm. Since this thread is about shimless buckets, the size of the actual shims is irrelevant.
