thnx

I though posibly i had that wrong

Trying to figure out my new problem

No Codes from the ECU but i start up my car it idles somewhat ok for a few seconds and then jumps up to 1500 or 2000 stays there for a bit then drops back down to 1000 then jumps up and down between 1000 - 2000. Sometime if you touch the throtle it will even stay at 3000. I looked over the Vacum lines but did not find anything cracked missing or wrong.

not to sure where else to look then. I just put it back together. I dont have a timing light but the car sounds like the timing is pretty much ok for those few seconds before the cars starts reving like that

Well i am going to try some simple things this evening and see what i have so far. I already cleared the ECU before and still the idling problem There were no codes before or after clearing the ECU. i will try a few things with the ISC and then check for a code 51 with the throtle

I think my timing is off a bit. i will have to take it in to check that i dont have atiming light and have no idea how to do it

Also i did not hear any clicking from the ISC when i car shut off. Makes me think that the ISC is bad as well.

Well i figured part of it out. Forgot to tighten one of my hose clamps on. The idling problem is still happening but it is a bit better now. not so crazy. i think my timing is a bit off. Still not to sure about the ISC. I guess i will have to take it off and check it out
