It seems like the teal metallic turquoise cars are coming out in force.

After 1.5 years of small modding, I decided to go all out and do a complete overhaul and upgrade.

I've wanted a teal mkiii ever since I visited ma70.com 3 years ago.
I couldn't find a single one for sale and just started looking for any mkiii
that I'd like. I've driven many and seen more. I just couldn't find one I
was happy with. The ones with great bodies ran like crap and the ones that
looked like crap ran well. Anyway, I was about to give up when I got a call
from someone that heard I was interested. Amazingly enough, I was out of
town visiting the very area that this guy was living in. I checked out the
car, made the deal, and drove 350 miles home. Boy I had a blast. She was a
bone stock teal, turbo automatic, targa top with charcoal interior.

This is her when i first got her 2 yrs ago.

As you can see, the tires were oversized and the front and rear bumper
covers and header panel was seriously pitted (has anyone else had this?). I
was proud to have her though still.

Stay tuned...this baby has got a long way to go.

I'm really nervous that by the time I am able to buy a Teal/Turbo/Targa/Charcoal there will not be any left with low miles and 100% stock :(

welcome to the club.
Here in new San Francisco Bay area, there are two Teal 92's for sale . One is asking $5000 , then other wants a best offer with a hole in the engine....I think Cali's had the most teal :)

Very possible, my car was originally from California.

I was going to build the 7m, but after driving a JZ with just 10psi, i realized what I had to do:

That's right...a 2JZ and 6 new cogs to mate it with. First priority is to get the drive train sorted out and work on the body. It needs to have minor dings and such worked out and then finally a new paint job.
