no throttle response????

this is a weird one like a hour ago i was able to start the car and it would free rev all the way to red line and its been running the best it ever has. now i went and put some gas in it and i started up so i could go get it washed and it starts revs to 4000rpm when im not hitting the gas and then drops to 700rpm and hold a good idle . then i hit the gas and the rpm drop and i have no throttle response at all and i wondering what would cause this i knon this happened to me once befor when i was doing the cps timing. could it be that the cps isnt timed right again??? cause i just did it yesterday and its ran good beside the idle surge.

any info would be helpful

well i think it might be my lexus afm because i went and timed it again it was doing the same thing but when put my had up front of the afm the car will rev but shitty. ater i did that it started to surge from 1000-3000 rpm

just goes in limp mode but i can rev it to 2500 and drive it so would you say my lexus afm is bad

do the afm come from the 1uz or the 2jz

You can use the electronics out of your stock AFM if you still have it as they're identical.

yeah i thout it was from the 1uz but wasnt 100% sure

and no i dont have the stock AFM i never got it with the car when i got it it has a hks vpc
