No rpm, oilpressure or boost, please give me ideas

Hello,
As you have seen in my project thread I have not done anything with the engine and the only thing I have done with the cluster and ECU is that I have removed them from the car.

The engine starts and runs good.
So that would indicate that the ECU is getting an rpm signal, correct?

When I turn the ign on I can see the needle in the boost gauge moving to about -1. But when I start the engine it drops to "no reading".

The clock and the background light is functioning.

The economy indication did function but not now.

Since the car is still on jackstand it has not moved so I don't know if the speedometer works but that one is mechanical so it should.

I have also checked the fuses but all are working. One for ECU-ign had a broken plastic shell so I replaced that one just to be sure.

The only thing from the harness inside the car that is left is the 12V feed for the fuel pump and the ground goes to the body in the rear. But this shouldnt affect the gauges in the cluster?

Any ideas?

Check your body connectors under the glove box? Mine had a bad ground.

Boost only works if your boosting or else its going to sit at -4. Check to make sure the sensor is plugged in and the vac line is hooked up. Would need to be driving to see that it works.

Where under the glow box are they?

Well I would see vacuum during idle and around 0 while revving the engine.
Where are the vac line and sensor located?

driver side fender well next to the injectors resistor box.

hvyman, I guess you were right about the boost gauge. Another supra guy confirmed what you said. I did the test where you disconnect the connector from the pressure sensor = the gauge shows maximum reading, ground terminal 2 and the needle should go to minimum reading. My gauge behaved like it should so I guess it's ok, but I'll confirm this once it's on wheels.
I will check the h1 connector to see if I have missed something.

The problem was that I had forgotten to connect a connector near the ECU. Problem solved.
