Need some new tires for my 91 supra turbo.

Thinking of going with the Yokohama ADVAN Sport Run Flat:

Run flats are more expensive. Can get a better tire for the same price non run flat.

rather than run flats you might invest in AAA. i have that since I removed my spare.

Have you ever seen a runflat tire off rim in person? They're ridiculously heavy, and they're firmer than the hinges of hell. Added to that they generally wear out faster and more unevenly than the same tire in its non run flat form. They're also a lot more expensive, and a nightmare to mount depending on the size.

They were designed for businessmen in luxury automobiles who cant be bothered to replace a flat on the side of the road, and the odd application where there was no spot for a spare tire (awd sienna's). If at all possible avoid them like the plague, that is until the design behind the runflats does some serious catching up.
