yeasterday i drove my car to work even though it has a REAL bad IC leak,when i went to leave work it wouldnot start,i checked all fuses and whatnot....after awhile it finally started,i drove it home went as easy as possible on it.when i cut it off after i got home is started rite up....now this morning i leave to go to work and it wont start again,so i check the codes and i got a list of them:
21-oxygen sensor
24-intake air temp sensor
34-intercooler pipeing(already ordered)
41-throttle positions sensor
42-speed sensor(i dont have a speed cable,so this is no problem)
43-no starter signal(i had to go around the alarm system,and ran a toggle switch to the starter..im guessin thats why this code was thrown)
52-knock sensor



now im wondering if 21,24,52 could be thrown by the 34 code ..like maybe since the intercooler pipes were leaking it made the mafs think it wasnt getting enough air so it threw a code also...or is that not possible?? i wanna try to figure this out befor i go buyin all this stuff i prolly dont need

Your almost there, except 34 is abnormal turbo pressure, meaning you hit fuel cut.

I would pull the efi fuse for a minute, drive it around the block for five minutes and see what codes remain.

i cant get it to start,,,pulling the fuse wont make it start will it?

That will erase your stored codes. Then after driving it for 5 minutes, if a problem is still there, that code will be back. With a list that long, hopefully you don't have All those problems still. You might want to repet this after you replace those IC hoses to see what it effects.

Getting the car started is another problem. You should better describe what happens when it doesn't start. I'd be posting right here with you if mine wouldn't start, so I can't really diagnose, but others certainly can. I would start by checking that toggle switch to the starter. That sounds like it could be a suspect.

it turns over fine,just doesnt start!! gettin gas,didnt check for spark yet.....the EFI fuse,is it the one under the hood marked EFI?? isnt that for Electronic Fuel Injection?? or no....

yes, thats the fuse you need to pull.

if it cranks but wont start- go jiggle around the cps wiring. the wiring comes loose in the clip often and will cause it not to start due to no spark signal.

is it possible that due to the car running so rich it messed the spark plugs up wich is not letting it start?? its rainy out,i havent pulled then yet just wondering befor i go out in the rain to check it out

Running rich might cause old plugs to go foul. When was the last time you replaced them?

havent replaced them since i had the car on the road.... maybe 25k

are they copper or plat plugs? if copper they need to be replaced regardless. if plat, they are ok unless fouled. i dont think that is likely tho. but if they are worn you might have too large of a gap. you might check that as well. they should be around .032

did the cps wiring do anything?

nope,the CPS did nothing..i will be checking the plugs sunday....hopefully thats the problem...its really the only thing that makes sence ,becouse it was running pretty good minus the IC pipes being mesed up,and when it wouldnt start the other day...i didnt do anythign special to it just turned they key a million times and it finally started so im hopin the plugs are bad and thats all,cause i wanna install my IC pipes tuesday : )
