New Intercooler and BOV question

I'm looking at a couple of intercooler kits and they offer the option to have a flange for say an HKS or Blitz BOV on there. Does that mean that with the flange welded on, I don't need to buy the HKS SSQV kit and can just buy the BOV itself? That would be a nice bit of cash to save.

Yes, you would only need the bov, not the whole kit. That kit was only intended to go on our stock piping.

the only thing you wouldnt need is the flange, you would need everything else.
i.e. the bov itself, the c-clip, o-ring, vac line, vac line clamp.

^^^^ Okay, so we have some conflicting info it seems.

If I buy this:

Then that is just the BOV itself, with no hardware right?

So I take it I just need to buy the whole kit and discard the pipe or whatever the kit comes with and use the rest of the stuff?

All you need is the bov, not the kit. The new bov will come with a clip and o-ring. The kit is pn 1421-sa001, all you need is pn 1421-sa001. Why spend 280.00 on a kit when you only need to spend 180.00 just the bov.
