well, did you pick up a complete engine set with the harness + tranny? Have you sourced your motor mounts yet? How about IC piping? New IC? Staying twins or going single? Are you going 5spd? Need alot more info than just "I have car and engine".

Swap is pretty straight forward, wiring is the only PITA, and has all been covered numberous times (search button is your friend), there is also ToyotaCressida.net which has a wealth of information.

yea i am on cressida.net all i literally have is 92 car and usdm 2jz complete swap minus trans. stock twins side mount harness igniter 6speed computer its goona be expensive but iam gonna make it happen i need to get a complete drivetrain:nono:

By mounts, do you mean you have the JZX mounts? The 2jz ones will NOT work in the cressida. You say USDM 2jzgte, so I'm guessing Supra (since that's the only one we got over here), if it's from a supra you need a new oil pan and sump, since supras are mid and you need front sump. Are you planning on sourcing a 6speed transmission for the swap or drop down to a 5spd (pretty sure the 5spd will work on the 6spd ecu). You will also need intercooler piping, and possibly an intercooler.

You don't need a whole new driveline, all you need is transmission and possibly driveshaft, you can get away with your stock diff.

yea its cool i am goona rock a 154 for now but i have to get chaser mt. brackets and i have a front sump oil pan and pickup i just need to install it cant wait:icon_razz

yea that jzxproject site seems helpful thanks those colors burn the shit out of my eyes though:aigo: bryan 240 how much you want for that trans, is it good ?have you tested it? are you reliable?
