i got a mk3 1jz and im in stratford i new the previous owner of that car

Definitely go over everything on that car. I wouldn't trust anything he owned...

i never new any problems he had he just bought the stock intercooler from me to get it running

its put together pretty hacked up but it works...just hope everything else does
