Ok so in the past couple weeks I've been hearing more and more about the Good Guys drag event which is going on same time as we want to be out there. I'm very sorry to inform but on everyones best interest I'm changing drag racing location on Friday night from Pacific Raceways to Bremerton Raceway/speedway.
Pacific Racway:
Maybe 1-2 passes
$30 Test-n-tune
$10-20 to buy a season number
Very picky on tech
was there last week during jr drags/test-n-tune only got 3 passes in 3.5 hours.
will be way over crowded
ALSO 30min shutdown time for sunset because its directly in your eyes...GAY
Bremerton Raceway:
Faster times(sea level)
$25 Test-n-tune
NO season number buy
Easy tech
A lot more car room for staging
There is a $5 fee to come back across bridge but overall I feel this will be a much better location because we will be able to get in more racing, be parked by one another, cheaper and run fatser times. Also they run cars through faster so gaurenteed more passes
directions:FROM TACOMA
Travel Highway 16 toward Bremerton. Take the Tremont exit in Port Orchard and go left on Old Clifton Road. Go Left on Sunnyslope Road. Immediate right on Clifton road to end.
Gates open at 3p.m. which i will be there then, racing starts at 4p.m. till 9p.m. Race gas avaliable there I'm getting there as gates open to reserves spots for US SUPRAS spoke to them on phone that is ok as long as a couple of us are there to stake out our area.
What you need to race:
Battery tie down. If battery in trunk, need outside turn off and it has to work
No coolant(though i've never had checked) tell them you don't
Snell approved helmet if running under 13.99 I believe
Fire jacket if running nitrous
4pt cage if running faster then 11.5
Thats basically it.
