ok i will start from the beginning, i got the car in october from a cousin of mine. the car has been sitting since 2001. so i got it from him and started with a new head gasket, got the head checked and machined. put new starter, alternator, fuel pump, relocated fuel filter with new one, new afm, and changed all fluids, battery, and fueses. finally got it to start in janaury, and its been having problems off and on. just recently i was messing with some of the wires on the engine harness and they were so corroded that they broke. so i kinda repaired the wires with new connectors on the afm. but when i got the new afm i put it on and it fired right up, so i drove it around the block and it drove fine, got home and popped the hood to check everything out and then it started to idle bad, and shuts off. so i start it back up and try to drive it around the block and it will barly drive at all. so my next step was a tps. i got the tps off of my parts car and put it on and it still did the same thing. so i got an idea that popped in my head "hold the tps wide open with it connected to teh harness but not the throttle body, and try to start it. well it started right up and when i released the lever it would idle bad again and cut off." so i came to a conclusion that its my wiring harness, and my tps. also just last night i try to go start it and all it will do is just crank, so i go to try to pull codes and my check engine light wont blink so i take out the jumper from t and e1 and put the ignition to the start position and my check engine light is not lit up. now im like why is this not lit up, i really dont know, so now im lost again. sorry for such a long responce.
