Need help with the HG!!!

I'm replacing the HG on my 7m, and the previous owner had replaced it with a MHG. I bought a digital caliper to measure it, the outside of the MHG is measured at 1.32-1.36 around the outside and I measured the inside cyclinder circle or however you call it and its at 1.46-1.50. What size HG should I get?

Umm, I'm not sure you've got the correct procedure there. If you are figuring out thickness, measure the deck heights of the head and block, and subtract from stock to get your extra thickness for the gasket. Do a search on here, and you'll find plenty of info on correct stock #'s. Stock bores are in the 3.25 inch area, so those #'s seem odd, dude...

I was more referring to the 2nd set of numbers? I misunderstood the reference to the "inside cylinder circle" I guess...

get a stock one

Or use a Felpro, or get the head shaved a little and use a MHG again.
