Need help with resistor...picture inside

I'm in the process of putting in my engine harness and there's one plug that goes to nothing....I looked on my brother's car and he has a little resister that is plugs into right by the ignitor...here's a picture:

My question is, what is it and do I need it? What are my options? Thanks in advance!

Noise suppressor, I tend to leave them in place.

I bought the car with basically nothing in the engine bay, but I have like 4 totes of misc stuff that came with it. If I can't find it in there I'll hafta snag one from someone on here. Thanks.

They're dirt cheap new, probably buy a box of 10 for $10.
