ok, im putting my motor back together after bhg and cant find a wire. on the intact side under the intake. it comes out of the same bundle as the starter terminal 50 wire. its square has 4 connections seems green or clearish green.

i cannot see where this wire goes.

Well considering this is as far as ive ever torn into Any motor, im not expecting a smooth start up lol.

im pretty sure im going to have to pull the entake back off. i wasnt 100% on the injector wire order so thats 1 possible problem. also, any other random wires under the in take i might have missed will pop up.

i am hopefull it will fire right up ;)))

well i found a black wire under the battery too, not a clue where it goes. so its not plugged in too, lol

the hardest part for me on my startup was all the vacume hoses.

and i thought the injector wires only reached to their plug, not hard to mess up?

i saw that same black wire at first i was freaked i missed a plug. i remembered reading about it awhile back so i just left it.

the injecter wires will reach kinda far for me. the harness seems original never messed with(cut). the first injector i can plug 2 different wires into. the middle ones are pretty much 1 wire, the last injector can have 2 reach it.

sadly, i got it all bolted up and it wont start. it cranks but wont fire, gotta start looking for whatever the cause is tomorrow

The injector plugs are color coded, they alternate. I'll check in a few minutes which color #1 is.

Really? Huh, I was under the impression that at least the pre89's all had the alternating colored clips. My harness has one set of 3 white clips and one set of 3 brown clips. I just checked, the wires running to my clips are not colored in such a way that that they appeard to be colored in a specific grouping.... they might be, I only took a quick look, but I wasn't left with that impression.

Okay, nevermind on my wires not being color coded, I'm looking in my '88 TEWD and I recognize the colors. They are as follows: #1 and #4 - White/Blue and Yellow; #2 and #6 - White/Red and Black; #3 and #5 - White and Red.

I hope this helps.
