my first race (lost)

raced my friends 1997 eclipse gs-t from a dig (dont flame on know its a fwd car)
his mods:
completely built engine, 550cc injectors, big 16g turbo, fmic, safcII, wastegate dump, 3inch exhaust, race gas and boost was like 25 psi or so i was told

my mods are in sig

raced heads up....i pulled two cars right away. I bogged in first after i got traction for some reason....shifted second still two cars ahead....towards the end of third he pulls on me. His top end on his turbo was really nice. He ended up beating me by about 1.5 cars in the 1/4 mile. Not bad since this was the first time i ever raced and only like my second time that ive ever launched my car cause i baby it.

What kinda boost you runnin? If he was seriously on "race gas" and 25psi you shouldn't have even tried...but you did keep up pretty well!

14.5 lbs i ran....turns out he was on pump gas at around 21 psi

hey not bad, how much horsepower you think you got? doesnt sound like you got killed though. are you still on the stock ct26? go with the 57 trim then see what happens. :evil2: anyway good job.

i either near or over 300 at the wheels right now....stock ct 26

like supramike said just bolt on a 57 trim ct26 with that same amount of boost and its gonna be a whole different story....by the way some 2.5 hardpipes wont hurt too...
