Meh, what pleases your palette def. does not have to be the standard. But that's the wonderful thing about these cars- they're well built and have lots of space for whatever you want! All kinds of fun to be had!

Drew- just remember that I have that upper intake with the EGR blocked off if you want to fire it up! All you need is a lower runner...

and I have several lower runners, I would say get it running on stock piping with a stock intake manifold and intercooler. Far fewer headaches for this year and you can drive the car.

I have a bunch of stock IC piping and such. Not pretty, but has always fit and been reliable for me.

But I'm starting to hope for a few hundos out of this...how are my exhaust, oil pump, and rods treating you? :biglaugh:

rofl! Emilio is FTW

btw- Drew has an NA PSF reservoir, so stock piping will be tricky... very doable, but tricky

I think we can make it work as-is, I never liked that turbo reservoir.

You know me ;) we can make anything work that we want to. Just some times it requires a bit of planning a few minutes thinking and several hours fabricating.

Same engine I have with some internal work and a couple O turblows, NA the guy made 589HP and 518 TQ........

4L80E has the same over drive as the 5th gear in a r154 and with a 2.7 rear gear you will have BETTER mileage and these boosted V8 cars love more gear.

::popcorn::

Minnesota is the state of 1000 lakes, which one was it that was the Show Me state??? :evil2:

Again, I prefer manual transmission so i don't have to wait for the engine to rev so high before I drop gears, though I doubt that method nets me better mileage on the freeway.

It sounds like your gonna need a Huge eccentric throttle cam to accurately/safely crack the throttle plate safely around town, but damn will it be fun.
I'm in for lots of pics and videos ;)

Sorry bout the thread jack Mr. Yuk, its fun prodding him on lol
And you, great work on the car, keep it up, fall is nearing!!!

You do mean the land of 10,000 lakes :D
The only people that prefer manual transmissions are the ones that have never driven a built auto with a manual valve body, behind a powerful engine.
