Very cool. It really makes me happy to see people bringing them back to life rather than trashing them.

Car is looking great - can't wait to see the finished product.

heres a little update to what i got done this weekend on the project!

First off i started at the rear of the car and wanted to get the bumper on... one problem the old peices that attatch the mudflaps to the bumper had every bolt broke off and impossible and not worth the time to drill out so i whipped out the tig welder and the torch and made some new mounting for it heres the final product.
p1559518_1.jpg

p1559518_2.jpg

p1559518_3.jpg

then i painted the bumper support so it would not rust and to make it look as good as the rest of the car even though you wont see it. if i knew it wasnt painted then it would bug the hell out of me.
p1559518_4.jpg

p1559518_5.jpg

so after that i got the bumper finally installed :) looks good i would say

p1559518_6.jpg

p1559518_7.jpg

p1559518_8.jpg

p1559518_9.jpg

---------- Post added at 12:03 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:02 AM ----------

NExt on the list was to get the targa seals in but i had to put the seal holders or flashing that hold them on... well i noticed the factory used double sided weather proof tap on the one side to prevent water to go under neath these so i went to the store and put it back to the way of how it was ...

heres some pics

heres the old tape
p1559518_10.jpg

then the new installed

p1559518_11.jpg

p1559518_12.jpg

then it all installed on the car
p1559518_13.jpg

p1559518_14.jpg

Next Were the seals
ALL NEW OEM SEALS :)
p1559518_15.jpg

then installed
p1559518_16.jpg

p1559518_17.jpg

p1559518_18.jpg

p1559518_19.jpg

---------- Post added at 12:04 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:03 AM ----------

then its time for me to put the window downs on these are trim peices that go on the top of the door right by the window.

new oem parts... expensive and the last ones available!
p1559518_20.jpg

p1559518_21.jpg

then installed.
p1559518_22.jpg

p1559518_23.jpg

p1559518_24.jpg

p1559518_25.jpg

---------- Post added at 12:04 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:04 AM ----------

then was the mirrors i wanted to get them put on ... to give the car more of a look

p1559518_26.jpg

the old foam i wanted to replace... so i did
old
p1559518_27.jpg

new foam...yeah... from toyota
p1559518_28.jpg

p1559518_29.jpg

then on the mirror
p1559518_30.jpg

p1559518_31.jpg

THen mirrors put on the car
p1559518_32.jpg

p1559518_33.jpg

next was the spoiler i reallyt wanted to get this on today... butt i ran out time...

p1559518_34.jpg

p1559518_35.jpg

p1559518_36.jpg

then i noticed i was missing my thirdbrake light housing and light... and well i spent 2 hours looking for it finally found the damn thing....which i was glad becasue its discountinued...

p1559518_37.jpg

i gotta paint it and then assemble it on my spoiler then ill get to put it back on!

other things i got done was put the door seals on which are the last ones available...:)
