i have access to a brand new mk4 stock front mount intercooler. And was wondering if it would do me any good to put it in place of my stock mk3 on my 7m.

Could someone use one or two mk4 side-mount intercoolers and mount them in lieu of the fog lights so that air fed right into them? Just a late night idea.

Too bad the mk4 intercooler's aren't the best in efficiency either eric ;)

Actually, I heard from a few members that the MKIV intercooler is great for over 400+rwhp.
Most talon guys, and I believe 3000gt guys use these intercoolers with no complaints, and nothing but good reviews about them.

thats because they dont wanna buy the FMIC and get hasseled by the cops... lol

i had one for my eclipse, its roughly 14x14x5
5 INCHES thick... thing was huge, but a DM FMIC is easier and far better than a SMIC...

sell the MKIV one for like $70ish and buy the DM FMIC. you'll thank yourself later on.

I'm with Rennat on this. Sell the MKIV side mount and move onto a nice FMIC kit. The FMIC kit was probably one of my favorite purchases for my MKIII in it's prime. It's either that or the EBC that brought me the most immediaite joy. By the time you fabricate what you need to get the MKIV one in there, you will have spent a good chunk of cash and a LOT of time.

Just deal with the cops. :)
