Melted Hoses help

well my hose to the charcoal cannister is melted. (melted as in i cant take it off to replace, and it needs replacing)

so was my vacuum line to the instake on my old mk2.

usally i woould pull them off with plier, break them, lube em with extra k-y i have :naughty:

but this is a b!$#@

does anyone have any effective methods?

Cut it off at the nipple and then take a razor blade and cut down the hose, then you can just turn the razor and the hose should peel off.

Some times I've had to use some regular pliers, with very good serated jaws, and 'chew' the old crap off.

Don't press too hard and collapse the metal pipe.
