This has a more common name...methanol. The Supra Owners manual specifically recommends that you do not use fuels containing methanol...it is corrosive to the rubber parts in the fuel system.
It will also cause the engine to run lean. It will reduce CO emissions, slightly lower HC, and can actually cause NOx to increase due to the higher cylinder temps caused by the leaner mixture. if you use any alcohol to help emissions, run it for the minimum time necessary. A gallon to a half tank of gas will do the trick.
Ethanol will do the same thing as methanol and is not nearly as damaging to the fuel system. You can get it at the hardware store...denatured alcohol is ethanol with a very small amount of methanol added to make it unfit for drinking
