MDC's Holset/89 turbo silver buildup

get naked & boost a supra
well, i don't think my wife will be comfortable with me bringing her. she has huge tits and my wife knows how much i like the man pillows
besides, i think i would have to have my car there for the dyno again and hopefully this time first place for the mkiii's takes home more than 25 big ones.lol i don't plan on sticking with the .57 trim too much longer, but i still like the idea of a bolt on turbo. maybe a sp61

Here is the HE351CW (Hy35) compared to the HX52. Mind you the HX52 has about a 67mm compressor wheel....

No the hy is around a 53mm comp wheel. Id bother with it because it flows 60lbs of air.

Compressor minor/major: 2.077"(52.75mm)/3.0645"(77.84mm)
Turbine minor/major: 2.2825"(57.98mm)/2.5670"(65.20mm)

Mind you the closest Garrett Wheel that flows 60lbs of air is almost 58+mm in size.

This means quicker spool due to the low rotating mass.

IIRC, the HX52 measures 66.7mm minor / 98mm major ?? on the comp wheel....

Hy35 all the way Jon.
After she's all happy with that, move up to the HX52 with a two step and do a wheelie!

Typically, the hx40 is a lag monster due to its large exhaust housing and smallish turbine.

The hx40 will really perform if you have a Bullseye housing, but other than that its a LAG O MATIC.

Not on 3126B it was meant to run with.

that wastegate looks like it says CCR. If it is, CCR makes parts for complete turbo kits on srt-4's and pt cruisers

Just a few updates since Ive had some time to knock some crap out.

A few shots of the progress since the interior was gutted along with the engine bay.

The green paper is a mock up template on how I would like the aluminum door skins to look.

The bay has been prepped for paint and is getting shot with primer as we speak.

Enjoy for now, more to come.

if you have both turbos already, i'd try out the HY then move up to that big ass HX if you're not satisfied with the HY.
