i installed a manuel boost control about a week ago made from a Home Depot brass adj. valve piece....i was wondering if i need to do nething enginewise along with adding the mbc...im only using it to boost 9 or 10. so not too much but i was just wondering if theres nething else i need to do?

if you are going to stay in that range then you are fine. I use to run 13psi on a stock hg but it was on a new hg and healthy eng.

So long as you have supporting mods for higher boost you should be ok
but if you just have a completely stock car, upping the boost can be harmful
exhaust, Downpipe, BOV are all good ideas
