Curious, what is your setup?

What is a super wide offset? I assume you mean how much the wheel moves outward to clear the brakes? In which case the TT MKIV wheels are NOT a "super wide offset" but a poor non aggressive offset.

Yeah, and those "bad boys" won't fit under the fenderwell.

The car's set up? It is an 89 hardtop no AC and gutted interiour. I have eibach springs and Tokico blue shocks and ST sway bars and custom links. The engine I have forged pistons and shotpeened rods and HKS mhg and ARP hardware. Turbo is SP61 currently running 10 psi on low boost.
thanks
Alex

I have Mustang Cobra R's on my car. They're the same size and offset as the ones you're talking about and I have a 275 on back with no issuses or rubbing. The rims fill up the wheel wells nicely and stick out as much as you can without rubbing or looking obnoxious.

Did you also have the staggered setup on the maroon car?

I checkout the wheel fitment thread and did a lot of research and narrowed down my options to these wheel. They are cobra relpica 17 inch with 9 front +24 and 10.5 rear with 20+ offset. I really like them they are lightweight too. let me know what you guys think.

I need to get some bigger wheels too, I decided. I am going to lower my car too, would these fit w/ 275's if I rolled the rear fenders?

IMO 17x10.5 with a 20 + ET is tough to fit on the supra. I am guessing it will stick out and look absurd.

Yup, those Cobra wheels are really wide! They stick out alot on our cars, I've seen them in person on a MK3, and they look ok just not right. The 17x9 +24 you will have a problem with rubbing. The wheels that I have are the 17x8 +35 in the front, and 17x10+35 in the rear. and they work great and don't stick out that much at all. I might get some 17x9+35 for the front later on.

10.5" +20 is easy to fit on a A70 with a few minutes of work, provided you go with the right tire and the car is low. However at you're ride height it would look terrible, so good choice.

the off set im running is 120mm in rear 17x10 w/275's and 85mm front on 17x8 w/245's

-120mm offset on the 10" would be 9-10" of lip, and +120mm would be spokes swinging many inches outside of the rim, I would love to see either. Maybe you meant backspacing?

yes you are correct. Here is a test fit for the rear using Nitto drag radials 275-40-17 17x9 +25 offset. I still have not installed the front. They are the original GT's with 17x8 +38

The set you had posted earlier were staggered 17x9, and 17x10.5...+25 et, and +20et. Why would you mount the 275 dr's on the 17x9's?
Is it just me, or does that look photo-shopped!?
Mustang wheels on a Supra? FTL!!!:ugh2::thumbdown

Mustang wheels ftl? You can't tell me this doesn't look good...
275-45-zr17's tucked under the back. Fits like a glove!
Four polished aluminum rims with Goodyear tires for $500 FTW!!! :p
Who cares if they have the "f" word stamped on the back side of them...

No they are not photoshopped. They are real. I didnt get the 17x10.5 +27offsets figured they would be too wide and stick out too far the f. I got four 17x9's maybe it was the wrong choice. the 275 fit fine on these 17x9... I test fitted the fronts and they stick out slighlty but I may get 255-40 tires and do slight fender pull. My ride hide is pretty high to any rubbing issues.

Thx V8hntr!

All I had to do to de-Ford them was pop out the center caps, scuff them up with some 600 grit sandpaper, and spray paint them a nice shiny black. That and some $30 splined anti-theft lug nuts from O'Riley's and I was done! (mustang lug nuts are a different thread pitch, if not, they didn't fit for some other reason)

That blue is my favorite color. It's unique. I like these rims they are light and very strong. I am using the stock lugnuts.
Here another supra member is using 17x9 Impul rims with 20ET he used 255-40-17 tires on his old setup using these rims.
