have a swapped aristo 2jzgte nonvvti that cranks no start. have ignition pulse and injector pulse. checked resistance of crank and both cam sensors. found my map sensor had the rubber stuff torn on the bottom and didnt hold vacuum, so i ordered a used one. checked the connector for the 5V refrence which was there and also the ground. now when map sensor is connceted with key on engine off i get a reading of 2.6V on the signal wire (middle wire) of the connector. is this a correct reading or should it be closer to 5V? From my experience with most map sensors they are always closer to 4.5-4.9V on other cars at KOEO.

thanks.

That voltage sounds about right, the Denso sensor just reads atmospheric pressure with the key on.

cool. found the chart also that shows the voltage with the pressure changes so I know its right just never tested a boosted factory map sensor. thanks though
