i bought a 89 mk3 and took out the old engine (7mge) and trans (automatic) and then i bought replacements for them, including the manual ecu. i have everything installed but theres no crank and no click from the starter. would this be because of the clutch safety switch? or a lack of wiring in the dash for the switch? if so, how can i bypass that?
