Should the torque sequence be the same as the head?

I do mine in a crisscross spiral much the same as the head in 3 passes.

Edit: Whoops. That's the loosening sequence. The tightening sequence comes later (And is reversed) at page EM-91.

EM91 is how I've always done em (without ever having looked at that page )
