lower radiator hose options

anyone have any alternatives to having that ridiculous corkscrew lower rad hose bend all around the engine bay?

I was thinking of getting an aluminum radiator and having a couple of 90 degrees welded on it, then just having a straight shot for the new lower rad hose. Anyone done something like that?

I also heard the 5m lower rad hose works, but havent been able to confirm that, and cant find any pics.

Depends on the IC Pipe routing but I always used NA Lower hoses.

yes 5m hose. part number 7777 from napa. all you need to do is cut about an inch off the top side. here is a pic, you can kinda see it.

The kit I got from driftmotion doesn't have that big loop in it. It comes pretty close to power steering pulley though.

Maybe its just me but i never even notice the stock hose unless im taking it off. eh.

the 5m hose makes a lot more room for 3" ic piping

Yea i hate the 7m Lower rad hose, its a fuckin pain to guide it through everything...

So in turn i got a 5m hose and it was mucch mucchh easier!!!!!!
